Summary of work

AbbVie’s mission is centred on making a remarkable impact on the lives of patients, which is highly compelling internally, congruent with our strategies and drives strong employee motivation. In our second year, it was critical for the communications team to harness the passion and impact resulting from this belief, in order to become renowned for our genuine patient focus, for the benefit of AbbVie and the biopharmaceutical industry.

Our purpose is so important that despite the ongoing disruption of our separation, we sustained a focus and commitment on our long-term campaigns. We also built a high-performing communications team with the capabilities – now and into the future – to deliver strategic, integrated communications solutions reaching ever-fragmented audiences, operating in complex environments.

Our aligned communications work stimulated debate, thought leadership, information, support and advocacy to effect positive change for patients and the organisations representing their needs and successfully inspired and connected employees with our company mission.
