Aurora

Summary of work

Aurora celebrated its 10th birthday in style, outperforming its business plan with above-target revenue growth and profitability. 2015 was a landmark year: a new agency strategic model was introduced and seven significant accounts were won, including Aurora’s first market access client and global wins with the independent GLOBALHealthPR network.

Aurora fine-tuned its positioning to focus on patient access to innovation and brought this to life through Access All Areas - an ambitious self-funded campaign that seeks to make a tangible contribution to the important medicines access debate, including the Accelerated Access Review. Aurora’s focus on seeking like-minded clients who really want to make a difference resulted in the delivery of client programmes focused on patient empowerment and access to medicines.

Aurora’s commitment to ensuring a happy team continued to pay off with above industry average staff retention and a score of 83% as a place to work in the new team satisfaction survey. At Aurora, part of everyone’s motivation comes from direct involvement in planning the future of the business. In 2015 new rewards for long service and a performance management process to lock in management team accountability for delivering all aspects of the business plan were also introduced.
