Summary of work

2015 was a year of major progress at Ruder Finn. We maintained our rapid growth, kept clients and staff happy, and received the highest external recognition for our work.

Revenue leapt by 21%, contributing to 57% growth in the past three years, with 18% profit.

Financial success was not at the expense of staff or client churn, with 91% and 100% retention respectively.

100% of staff are proud to work here and 100% of clients are happy with our work and would recommend us to colleagues or peers. We also reinvested 10% of profit on training and development.

Creative excellence culminated in a 2015 Cannes Lion for our ‘Protecting Our Tomorrows’ campaign for Novartis - the only healthcare PR agency to receive the honour.

Our success was built on three strategic imperatives:

1. Retain and grow our client base, based on a commitment to deliver exceptional service

2. Invest in growth teams, such as internal communications (which doubled in size)

3. Build our content and digital capabilities, to offer a broader and more valuable set of services to the market.

The result is an agency set up to achieve long-term sustainable growth within an evolving and challenging healthcare market.
