Virgo Health

Summary of work

A distinctly human approach.

Our most successful year to date, 2015 was truly monumental for Virgo. We were a business transitioning both our proposition and our structure all at the same time.

With an unwavering vision to be the best, most authentic and passionate team with a unique set of values, our creativity, courage and flexibility enabled us to deliver bold, meaningful work to impress existing and new clients alike.

Proud of our longstanding relationships, we saw excellent levels of client retention and a 23% increase in organic growth. In parallel we achieved a pitch success rate of 86% which helped us deliver our largest ever month and quarter in Virgo’s history and healthy year on year growth overall.

Besides adapting our services to meet shifting client demands within the ever-changing healthcare environment, capitalising on our ‘Being Human’ philosophy enabled us to motivate and develop our brilliant team. Growing to 85 people, our investment in training, our physical working spaces, our genuinely ‘human’ benefits and plenty of opportunities to spend time together, in and out of the office, netted us even higher employee satisfaction scores in the Great Places to Work and the Laureate Award for appearing in the top 50 for five consecutive years.

Judges' comments

A very well composed entry, which clearly defined vision and values whilst highlighting evidence of significant client impact with further growth in their client base and another strong financial performance. Throughout the entry and presentation we saw evidence of Virgo’s bold and highly visual approach in which creative and cultural strengths shone through.
