Summary of work

Madeleine’s unwavering drive saw her progress through Lucid’s 2-year Futures programme in less than 18 months. As a Senior Account Manager, her leadership and capacity to create trusting partnerships with her clients has played an integral role in business development at Lucid, demonstrated by the growth of her main account from £25K to £250K in 2015. Madeleine harnesses the diverse capabilities of her colleagues to ensure Lucid remains industry-leading for its positive company culture as well as its innovative programmes. Madeleine is self-aware and utilises her insights to further her own development and that of others. She plays an active role in recruiting and supporting new graduate hires. Madeleine is the youngest member of Lucid’s 8-person Advance Outcomes Expert Group, a committee of dedicated senior employees specifically chosen to implement evidence-based behaviour-change principles in the company’s medical education initiatives. Madeleine has demonstrated her capacity too on her academic background in medical anthropology and passion to improve the lives of patients, to develop and deliver industry-leading medical education programmes that result in measurable change in clinical practice, and ultimately advance outcomes for patients.

Judges' comments

Only eighteen months into her career, Madeleine proved to be an outstanding candidate for Young Achiever. She simply “gets it” and proved this with her pace, energy and enthusiasm. She showed maturity in her responses and her community experience was something that set her apart from the rest. There is no doubt that Madeline has a very bright future ahead of her.
