Summary of work

When three of Shaun’s family members were diagnosed with particularly aggressive forms of cancer, Shaun decided it was time to get involved in driving change in access to healthcare. Shaun’s passion for action has been the inspiration and driving force in his career.

Shaun’s significant achievements include helping to persuade NICE to reverse its decision to reject an innovative new treatment for ovarian cancer; running a digitally led campaign to shine a spotlight on everyday heroes; designing a social-led campaign to amplify a report on the role of women in cancer; and running the first ever global media training for Alzheimer’s Disease International as a pro bono project. And finally – working to deliver the first ever Trust Barometer for Health exploring trust and credibility and the implications for business and political leadership in health.

In the words of his managing director, “Shaun models the very best behavioural attributes of a millennial – constantly curious and pursuing excellence in everything he does.”

With Shaun it was evident that everything he said came from the heart. He delivered a genuinely passionate, emotive presentation and he had a fantastic presence about him. He was delightfully non-conformist which made him stand out even further. His personality shone through and the judges loved that about him.
