Hanover Health – Policy

Summary of work

Hanover Health Policy, Advocacy, and Public Affairs (PAPA) achieved exceptional growth in 2017 – both in revenue and number of clients. In 2018, our objective was not only to sustain momentum, but to grow during a time of change in the external environment and in our senior leadership team.

To successfully rise to the challenge, we developed a strategy built on delivering for our clients and challenging them to think outside of the proverbial box. We needed to be trusted, disruptive and responsible.

Hanover PAPA focused on enhancing team responsibility at all levels, creating a team-led culture, and sharing our specialisms through marketing. Complementing the internal empowerment of the team, we strived to break down silos across the Hanover Group and discovered valuable resources across communications, digital, as well as at EU and broader EMEA-level. This inspired more creative thinking and supported our breakthrough into new therapy areas, trust-building and delivering impactful programmes that inspired measurable change in the health policy environment.

At year end, we reached our objectives, while also embedding empowerment and accountability at every level of the team.
