Achieving optimal knowledge and motivation among the internal affiliate teams is critical to the success of the launch of any new product. For the European Astellas (APEL) medical and marketing team in charge of Vesomni it was absolutely vital – Vesomni is, after all, a combination product of two successful and very familiar molecules, so what more is there to know? The added complication of other recent high profile Astellas product introductions, a short timeline to organise the meeting and a budget 25% less than the last internal launch ’Bootcamp’ meant that the challenges were great.
Clearly a memorable and upbeat internal launch. This wasn’t a big event but it was clever, creative and innovative. Facing a challenging task it proved to be an excellent example of a well-organised and interactive meeting.
