Summary of work

Having spent over a decade in the Pharma industry working across a range of commercial sectors, I joined Red Door Communications (RDC) to head up Digital Operations in 2012, having previously won Pharma Times UK Digital Innovator of the Year. The challenge: to redefine the way we approach healthcare communications, harnessing the opportunities that digital provides, integrating the channel seamlessly within the traditional mix and harvesting the rich data sets the likes of which healthcare has never had access to before. Achieving all of this and being truly fit for purpose as experts in healthcare communications requires an understanding of a range of disciplines that perhaps aren’t the traditional core competencies in PR and comms. To do this I developed the industry’s first Digital Academy (supported by the Institute of Digital Marketing IDM) that all our employees go through and a number of global and local clients have commissioned. Leading the way in SEO, social listening and true end to end communications has ensured we stay ahead of our competition, has changed the way our clients approach communications and has led to a 300% growth in digital revenue for 2013.
