Wellbeing at Work

Summary of work

In 2011 Roche conceived its Wellbeing at Work initiative as an extension of its on-going commitment to employee wellbeing. This involved an internal communication campaign to raise awareness and visibility of the many interventions Roche was already providing to support employee wellbeing as well as actions employees could take themselves.

Tactics, which included an online Wellbeing One Stop Shop and fliers in toilet cubicles, have proved highly effective. Feedback has shown there is greater awareness of in-house resources, with 74.9 per cent of employees demonstrating their commitment to wellbeing and using the on-line resources available.

Judges comments

They made a dull area really interesting and put together a well-rounded programme. We really liked the mindfulness clinics, the links with external bodies and the toilet marketing!
