Judges’ comments
The whole Takeda team are clearly committed to living the company values and improving on their already outstanding credentials. Their commitment to patients continues to be at the centre of all that they do and has clearly evolved in the last 12 months, with reputation their most important driver. This has clearly paid off with external stakeholders trusting them to deliver and ranking them increasingly highly. Takeda showed how they have supported the people in the business to become more resilient, with more scope and obvious leadership support for innovation from the team. The introduction of home initiation inspired by one of their team in response to COVID-19 was truly impressive. The judges particularly liked that getting things wrong is seen as a learning opportunity. The Takeda team were polished, inspiring and their ethos really shone through.
