Campaign overview - Lose the smoker in you community campaignCompany: Pfizer In Newparks Leicester some 40% of residents were smokers, almost double the national average. Lose the Smoker in You engaged the entire community in the importance of reaching smokers and their families with a message encouraging them to stop smoking with NHS help and the support from those around them, and so build a healthier neighbourhood. The campaign's success relied upon the involvement of a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure appropriate messages and targeting within the community, whilst reassuring residents that specific local challenges had been considered. Ensuring longevity was a "must do". Four months later smokers were still being inspired to stop smoking. |
