Who organises the PMEA?

The PMEA are organised by PMGroup Worldwide, a highly respected independent publisher and business information provider based in the UK. Their portfolio includes industry publications Pharmaceutical Market Europe (PME), Communiqué Directory and The Directory together with highly successful awards programmes such as the Communiqué Awards and the Quality in Care Programmes.

Who can enter?

  • UK or European pharmaceutical, biotech, ethical, lifescience, OTC and medical device/diagnostic companies
  • Healthcare agencies and consultancies
  • Management consultants acting on behalf (and with the full authorisation) of the client pharmaceutical company
  • Patient associations and charities
  • Trade organisations and professional bodies.

I've never entered before, can you give me some tips?

Read the Judges' tips carefully and book a coaching session for a member of the PMEA team (with a judge where possible) to meet you via a conference call, to give advice on what makes an award winning entry.

When is the entry deadline?

Thursday 4 August 2017*

*An extension to 11 August 2017 is available at additional charge

How much does it cost to enter?

  • Entry is charged at £225 + VAT (£270) per entry*
  • Cheques should be made payable to PMGroup; see entry form for details of how to pay by credit card
  • One entry form must be submitted for each entry if you are submitting multiple entries
  • One payment covering all entries is acceptable.

* Extension fee: £125 + VAT (£150) (for entries submitted from 5–11 August 2017)

How do you ensure confidentiality?

PMGroup recognises the sensitive nature of the information submitted in the entries and, with this in mind, we have systems in place to ensure confidentiality at every stage of the judging process.

Every judge is required to sign a detailed and legally-binding confidentiality agreement before appointment. PMGroup also undertakes to adhere to the same confidentiality agreement.

You have total control of the information disclosed when the results of awards are published. This will be strictly limited to:

  • The content of the 200-word executive summary in your submission - please ensure that this is prepared with due care and attention
  • Visuals of supplementary materials - unless otherwise indicated on the entry form.
  • Quotes from the judges

PMGroup undertakes to destroy all entries after the awards. If you prefer to have your entry and supporting materials returned to you please indicate this on the entry form.
