Excellence in Health Improvement and Education

This award recognises marketing excellence in work conducted by an organisation to improve and safeguard public health and wellbeing. Entries are invited from any individual, team or service that have made an impact on public health. Judges will be looking for evidence of impact, sustainability and innovation.

Work conducted during the 18-month period between July 2010 and December 2011 will be eligible.

Potential entrants might include:

  • Charities
  • Patient or professional associations/bodies
  • NHS/Department of Health
  • Pharmaceutical companies
  • Healthcare agencies



Judging criteria:

  • Evidence that the campaign was built upon customer insight
  • Evidence of positioning and message development
  • Effective integration and implementation of activities
  • Evidence of changed behaviours and enhanced health outcomes
  • Customer feedback
