Communiqué - Volume 48

Communiqué - Volume 48

Moving forward towards a new normal

Managing a mostly or fully remote workforce is something that most companies have had to learn how to do since March 2020, and it hasn’t always been easy, as companies strive to ensure that their employees remain productive and engaged, while still feeling connected and recognised.

Remote working offers a lot of benefits to both sides. Studies have found that remote workers are more productive because they are not distracted by office disruptions or long commutes and take fewer sick days and shorter breaks. Read more about this on page 14.

As the ongoing shift to digital increased due to lockdown and remote working, audiences for mainstream media brands grew. Social media, messaging and video services saw significant growth as consumers went online in search of new ways to stay connected and remain informed. Read more about this on page 6.

Depending on government guidelines, we are hoping to welcome you to the Communiqué Awards in London on 1 September. We will then highlight all the award winners in our September issue of Communiqué magazine online and in print.

To inspire you in your next moves, in this issue we also bring you over 300 agencies to choose from when shortlisting your next communications partner. Visit us online where you’ll see that the print directory is fully integrated with our website.

I hope you enjoy this issue.
