What is the 'replace text' function in the text editor?

This is a function in the text editor that allows you to remove font, style, class, table and span tags, non-HTML, double spaces, empty paragraphs, all tag attributes, and to change Word bullets.

TIP: This is useful if you are cutting and pasting text from external applications such as Microsoft Word, which include certain tags which you may wish to remove from your HTML.
  • You can use this function on  a selected area of text, or all the text in the editor window.
  • Click the icon (set the top drop down menu [selected text only] to YES if you just want your selected text to be changed or NO if you want all of the text to be changed).
  • Select the options to change. (We recommend to select the majority of these tags for job vacancies - however you may wish to experiment with this tool for the best results).
  • Click OK - the following message will appear:
    replace_text_warning
    Click OK.
  • The following error message will appear if you have not selected any text.
    selected_text_not_defined_2
Click OK then try again after selecting some text.
