Tactical planning

Breaking down a company's wider strategic plan into more short-term, specific and deliverable tactics.

Tactical Planning is the process of breaking down the strategic plan into distinctive, short term plans. Commonly the strategic plan will cover a time span greater than three years, however the tactical plan spans the period from the present through to the conclusion of year three, allowing periods of delay for unplanned delays.
