Bedrock
Healthcare Communications has appointed Andy Grigg to join its growing
team as head of medical communications.
He arrives at the UK medical communications agency from Inspired Science where he was practice director.
David Youds, managing director at Bedrock, said: “This key strategic hire reinforces a milestone in Bedrock's development. In a little over three years we have grown from a small start-up consultancy to a leading player in medical communications. Andy has been hired as part of an overall strategic development plan, to bring in true experts to head up each of the disciplines within which we operate.
"Bedrock is now at the enviable stage of being big enough to support diverse client needs and still compact enough for me to be involved in all aspects of the overall business's development, including the growing insights and digital functions.”
Grigg began his industry career at GlaxoSmithKline, within its Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance department, before moving agency-side, initially in medical writing.
He then transferred to account management and worked through various levels of management responsibility at agencies such as Publicis Life Brands Resolute and Chameleon Communications.
Bedrock's recent expansion saw it take on five new members of staff last month and before that it added Pip Keys as head of insights.
