Laura Brown becomes senior vice president of operations

Ashfield Laura BrownAshfield Meetings & Events has appointed Laura Brown to its board of directors to serve as senior vice president of operations.

Brown joined the healthcare event management specialist's European hub seven years ago, and served as an account director before transferring to the agency's US hub in February last year.

Based in Ivyland, Pennsylvania as vice president of operations, Brown held responsibility for a number of operational business units across Ivyland as well as in Indianapolis, Indiana and San Bruno, California.

Brown has over 15 years of event experience and has held positions in operational, account management, training and business development during the course of her career.

Nicola Burns, global managing director of Ashfield Meetings & Events, said: “We are delighted to be making this appointment.

“Laura has been working closely with the management team to develop our US business to a market leading position and prepare us for the next stage of our predicted growth.

“Laura's remit will be to continue to expand and enhance the services we offer and oversee the delivery throughout the US. With her full service background and creative and production knowledge we have already seen a growing frequency of the agency's US client base to utilise our engagement services.”
