AstraZeneca has appointed Ayesha Bharmal as its new global media relations director.
Bharmal joins the company after nearly eight years with Fishburn Hedges, during which time she established the agency’s healthcare practice and was promoted to board director.
Based in the London offices, she will provide international media relations support for the company’s business strategy and report to head of global media relations Esra Erkal-Paler.
