Bedrock Healthcare Communications has appointed Keith Blues as its new creative director and promoted several of its existing team.

Blues joins the medical communications agency from 3seven9, a UK-based digital agency, where he served as creative director from 2012 until January this year.

He brings over 18 years of experience in integrated marketing communications, branding and digital design having also worked with Bulldog Digital, Gencon and Smith & Gilmour.

Meanwhile, Bedrock's Amanda Piehl, Emma Garrard and Karen Sully have been promoted to account manager, senior account executive and finance manager, respectively.

Piehl joined the agency in 2013 as an intern and most recently served as a senior account executive, while both Garrard and Sully joined Bedrock in 2014, Garrard as a junior account executive and Sully in the finance department.

David Youds, Bedrock's chief executive officer, said: “It's been an exciting start to 2016 for Bedrock, and I am proud to recognise the team's contributions to our success as well as our continuous growth as a company.

“I am confident that the rest of the year will bring further opportunities for Bedrock to continue to make our mark in the medical communications industry, creating great opportunities for our clients and our dedicated team.”
