Medical communications group Bedrock Communications has bolstered its team with the addition of six new hires.

Joining the senior management team is Toby O’Brien, who formerly served as lead digital and creative services of Lucid Group.

He becomes Bedrock’s head of multichannel communications and will further enhance the agency’s strategic capabilities.

Alongside O’Brien, Meg Morgan becomes Bedrock Healthcare’s new strategic solutions director.

She also joins the senior management team and her new role will see her guide the company’s growth.

Strengthening the agency’s medical writing capability and therapy area expertise is new addition Emily Bell, who joins Bedrock as its principal medical writer and Sarah Cripps takes up the finance manager position.

Bolstering the accounts team are new hires Emma Garrard and Edward Jones, who take up account manager and account executive roles, respectively.

David Youds, chief executive officer of Bedrock, said: “These key strategic hires are instrumental to our growth.

“It’s an exciting and dynamic time in Bedrock’s evolution and im looking forward to each of our new team members bringing their passion, skills and enthusiasm to the Bedrock family.”
