Cohn & Wolf appoints Tamsin Tierney as deputy MD

She moves to the agency from Tonic Life

Tamsin TierneyGlobal communications agency Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Tamsin Tierney as deputy managing director of its London-based healthcare division.

Tierney will be responsible for further driving the group’s healthcare business growth, which rose by 33% in 2016.

Catherine Keddie, Cohn & Wolfe’s managing director UK, said: “Tamsin is a fantastic hire and combines senior experience, bags of energy, and shares our vision to build a healthcare business at the cutting edge of integrated pharmaceutical marketing.

“I’m looking forward to partnering closely with Tamsin as we look to build on our success in recent years.”

Tierney has previously served Tonic Life as its deputy managing director in 2013 and subsequently managing director at the end of 2014.

She said: “Cohn & Wolfe has an unrivalled reputation not only as a healthcare pioneer but also for combining the agency’s wider skills in brand marketing, digital and creative to deliver some truly memorable client campaigns.
