Cambridge, UK-headquartered Bicycle Therapeutics has named Dr Stephen Hoffman as chairman of its board of directors.
Dr Hoffman brings 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and financial industries to the biotech, currently serving as a senior advisor to PDL BioPharma and president of 10x Capital, an investment management firm.
He is also a member of the board of directors of AcelRx Pharmaceuticals, Dicerna Pharmaceuticals and Genocea Biosciences.
Previously, Dr Hoffman was managing director at Skyline Ventures from 2005 to 2014, and served as president, chairman, chief executive officer and director of Allos Therapeutics between 1994 and 2012.
