Former Sanofi UK MD to head Teva UK

Steve Oldfield has been named as the firm’s new general manager

Steve OldfieldTeva UK has announced that Steve Oldfield has become its new general manager for the UK and Ireland.

Oldfield has worked in commercial roles within the pharma and allied industries for nearly three decades, and was most recently managing director UK & Ireland, Sanofi.

Whilst in this position, he also served as Industry Chair of the Medicines Access Group (MAG), Chair of the European Medicines Group (EMG) and was a board member with the ABPI.

Richard Daniell, former managing director of Teva UK, who was recently appointed chief operating officer of growth markets, said: “Teva is in very capable hands with Steve at the helm supported by a fantastic management team, and I am sure it will continue to go from strength to strength.”

Oldfield said: “I’m excited about driving the future and vision of Teva in the UK. We want to keep growing, and keep serving our customers well, and I’m confident we can do both of those things with the talented people we have in our team.
