Specialist healthcare communications agency GCI Health has promoted Claire Martin to associate director and Laura Starr to associate director and head of creative.
Claire will take on further agency management responsibilities, including people development and oversight of financial processes, as well as be responsible for continued European and UK health and wellness new business growth.
The newly created role of Head of Creative, recognising the strategic value of dedicated creative expertise, sees Laura provide input across the agency’s accounts with a specific focus on embedding processes that champion industry leading innovation.
“Claire and Laura are exceptional senior leaders who have contributed a significant amount to the ongoing vision and growth of GCI Health locally and globally, clearly inspiring and motivating the team as they go,” said Rikki Jones, Director of the GCI Health London team.
“With these promotions Claire and Laura will more formally lead to their strengths in response to market needs and opportunities, increasing the value offered to our client partners.”
Additionally, the agency has recently welcomed two new recruits, account director Helen Khan, who has joined from Edelman, and account executive Carly Johns, who has moved from Adelphi Research UK.
“Helen and Carly are both outstanding hires who are an obviously strong fit for our team’s entrepreneurial spirit, we look forward to their further growth at GCI Health,” said Jones.
GCI Health’s new London employees will work with global, European and UK clients across four primary service areas: life sciences, consumer health, market access communications and strategic consulting.
