Golin appoints Neera Chaudhary as global president

She takes over from Sarah Matthew, who steps up to the role of chair

Neera ChaudharyGolin has appointed Neera Chaudhary as global president of healthcare in a role that will see her work at the group’s New York office alongside Jon Hughes and Matt Neale  - two of three CEOs at Golin - to internationalise the firm’s healthcare efforts and manage its Golin Health and Virgo Health brands.

She joins the healthcare communications group from Cohn & Wolfe, where as executive creative strategist she led strategy and creative insight for healthcare clients across the agency with a client roster spanning companies and brands in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and consumer health.

She said: “I was drawn to Golin’s brave approach to address the industry’s metamorphosis through its revolutionary g4 model.

“I wanted to be part of an industry leader known for its bold and unconventional creative consumer marketing work and build on that equity to help healthcare clients win in the battle for brand relevance and grow the practice globally.”

Chaudhary also joins the group’s executive board and will be working closely with her predecessor Sarah Matthew who moves to the role of chair.

Matt Neale, CEO at Golin, said: “Neera’s experience in designing and implementing complex global healthcare campaigns was a huge draw for us.”

“Our clients will benefit from her compelling mix of strategic counsel and creative flair. Ultimately, after meeting many exceptional candidates, we felt excited about Neera’s ability to spearhead innovation within the healthcare industry on behalf of our clients.”
