GSW names Marci Piasecki as president

She will lead the inVentiv company's North American operations

edit-Marci-Piasecki-2inVentiv Health's advertising agency GSW has promoted Marci Piasecki to serve as its new president.

In her new role she will lead GSW's North American operations in New York City, Toronto, Columbus, Ohio and Newtown, Pennsylvania, reporting to Jeffrey Wilks, who was recently named as inVentiv Health's president for advertising.

Jeffrey Wilks said: “Marci's knowledge of today's dynamic healthcare marketplace is grounded in far-reaching, diverse and cross-life cycle brand experiences. This, along with her best-practice approach to building remarkably high-performing teams and culture makes her ideally suited to lead GSK.”

Piasecki, who joined GSW in January, was formerly president of GSW East and Managing Director inVentiv Communications Media and Studio Services.

Prior to this she a decade at McCann Health as CEO of its McCann Torre Lazur Group and regional director of McCann Health North America.

Commenting on her new role Piasecki said: “I am looking forward to leading GSW, an agency known for its courage, creativity and quality of execution, securing its position as an industry leader.

“My focus will be to ensure that GSW continues to maintain and enhance strong client relationships, delivering award-winning work that moves the needle for brands.”
