Brand and communications experts name new partner and research director in their London-based European healthcare team

Communications agency Hall & Partners (H&P) has hired two new senior figures for its London-based European healthcare team H&P Health.

The first of the two hires, Chris McPartland (pictured left) joins the company as partner from Kantar Health and will lead Hall & Partners’ growing Oncology Centre of Excellence, as well as serve on the UK senior management team. McPartland, who began his career at GfK NOP, brings over 25 years’ experience to H&P Health, much of which working with blue chip pharma companies.

Lucy Ireland (pictured right) joins as research director and will be tasked with leading the H&P Health team’s continued expansion in quantitative research. Ireland is a member of the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association (BHBIA) Committee and a previous winner of the prestigious Best of British Intelligence (BOBI) Business Intelligence Excellence Agency Award in 2011. In addition to its London office, Hall & Partners has four US offices, two in Australia, two in South Africa and one in Singapore.

The US offices also welcomed two new arrivals; Erica Pascual joins the company as account manager and Amanda Perlstein as account executive. Pascual will apply her background in psychobiology and biotechnology to quantitative and qualitative research projects across a range of therapeutic categories while Perlstein’s experience in healthcare research and multi-lingual skills will prove valuable in Hall & Partner’s work with pharma companies globally.

“We are very excited to welcome Erica and Amanda to our team,” said Dr Soumya Roy, managing partner, US Health. “They join the company at a dynamic time and we look forward to having them contribute to our future growth.”
