Havas Life hires Carola Salvato as general manager, Italy

Salvato to report to Ben Davies, CEO Havas Health Europe

Carola Salvato Havas Health ItalyHavas Health has appointed Carola Salvato as general manager, Havas Life Italy.

Salvato will be based in the main office in Milan, and is tasked with growing the agency with a special focus on digital solutions and becoming strategic partners with clients. She will report to Ben Davies, CEO, Havas Health Europe.

Salvato brings over 16 years of integrated marketing experience to the role, with a background in both consumer and wellness. Prior to this role, she was director of healthcare at TBWA Group Italy – a start-up division that Salvato grew from the ground up.

Salvato developed her professional experience at SaluteBessessere Network (Sole 24 Ore Group), Dedalus (Datamat Group) and McCann Healthcare, where she worked in pharmaceuticals, OTC as well as other sectors. With experience that spans medical communications, market strategies, branding, CRM and PR; Salvato has worked with clients such as Abbott, Abbvie, Bracco, Danone, Dompé, Lilly, Nestlé, MSD Animal Health, Novartis, Pfizer and Zambon, among others.

“I'm thrilled Carola is joining Havas Life, she brings a real energy and enthusiasm that is infectious. In her previous role, she was massively successful in building and leading the healthcare business and she makes a great addition to the team in Italy,” said Davies.

The move comes as Havas Life Milan prepares to move to the Havas Worldwide building in Via San Vito in mid-April, where Havas Digital and Havas Media are also based.

“It's an exciting time to be joining Havas Life, building on the network momentum and pursing new opportunities in Italy,” said Salvato. “The office move brings greater integration within the Havas family, setting us up for a new era of growth.”
