The Red Consultancy has announced that current directors Sophie Taylor-Roberts and Rebecca Fergusson will share the managing director role at its Red Health division.

Taylor-Roberts (left) and Fergusson (right) have been with Red for five and seven years respectively, the former having joined the healthcare practice from Cohn & Wolfe and the latter from Beattie Communications.

The two jointly take over from Jennifer Garratt, who left Red Health at the end by December by mutual agreement, having been with the company since late summer 2013. Fergusson and Taylor-Roberts will “further develop the Red Health offer”, Red said in a statement.

"In Rebecca and Sophie we have an incredibly strong combination of experience, skills and talent. They have both been hugely instrumental in establishing Red Health's excellent reputation,” said Amanda Duncan, deputy CEO of The Red Consultancy.

"They have great ambitions for the practice moving forward and we're very excited about the dual promotion."

Red Health clients include Novo Nordisk, AbbVie, MSD, Janssen, Boots and Johnson & Johnson.
