Ketchum London's CEO Denise Kaufmann heads for the US

The UK agency's deputpy CEO Jo-ann Robertson will move into Kaufmann's former role

Denise KaufmannGlobal communications firm Ketchum has appointed Denise Kaufmann, current partner and chief executive officer of Ketchum London, as director of client development for North America.

Kaufmann has led the London office since 2013, and during that time she has gathered expertise in creative, team building, management, client engagements and client counsel.

Her new role will see her based in Chicago, US where she will focus on providing client counsel for the firm’s North America-based clients.

“She is known for delivering top-notch service to clients, having a razor-sharp focus on attracting and retaining the industry’s very best talent, and for creating an environment that encourages our employees to reach their full potential.”

Jo-ann RobertsonMeanwhile, Jo-ann Robertson, current partner and deputy chief executive officer at Ketchum London, is being promoted to CEO effective January 2018.

Her new role will see her assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the London office, which includes securing and retaining talent and building on the office’s strong base of brand, corporate, healthcare, public affairs and technology clients.

Robertson’s career has seen her pursue marketplace opportunities, delivering client service and leading cross-practice collaboration.

She joined Ketchum back in 2011 where she was appointed managing director of corporate and public affairs and was named partner in 2013.
