Leading Edge bolsters its delivery team

The Lucid Group company hires Francesca Worthington and Lucy Coles

Lucid's strategic consultancy Leading Edge has strengthened its delivery team with two new-hires.

Francesca Worthington joins the group as an account manager after working across a variety of medical communication programmes and in a number of therapy areas, including haematology, ophthalmology, cardiovascular disease and neuroscience.

She said: “I enjoy working with both patients and healthcare professionals to really get to understand their challenges and provide solutions that ultimately lead to improved outcomes.

Lucid are recognised everywhere as innovators in medical communications and the entrepreneurial feel of the Leading Edge team really excited me.

Lucy Coles also joins Leading Edge as a programme director after working in medical communications for 15 years, where she started as medical writer, but later shifted her focus to team programme and team leadership.

She said: “I love the challenge of getting to grips with new therapy areas, new products and new ways of meeting clients’ needs.

“The thing that attracted me to Lucid was the focus on really making a difference to patients’ lives.”
