Lucid Laura CunliffeLondon-based medical education agency Lucid has appointed three new starters, welcoming Laura Cunliffe, Cynthia Chen and Chloe Powell on-board.

Cunliffe (pictured) joins as a senior account manager at Lucid’s strategic health communications and medical education arm Leading Edge.

She will be based at its office in Beaconsfield and arrives with over six years healthcare communications experience.

She most recently served at Integrated MedHealth Communications (imc), where she served as a senior account manager, and prior to that spent time at Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide and SB Communications Group.

Chen joins Lucid as a senior medical writer and will be based at its London office, bringing experience from Chameleon Communications, Havas Life Medicom and Sciterion.

Lucid Group has also expanded its team of Futures Executives with the hire of Chloe Powell, who was previously working as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford after completing her DPhil in pharmacology.

Commenting on the Futures programme, which aims to nurture talent emerging from universities, Lucid Group HR manager Rachel Eales said: “Lucid wants people who are curious about medicine, and have a passion to change lives.

“These qualities are often found in new graduates, which is why we set up the Futures Programme – to make sure we don’t let people like Chloe slip through the net. We are always looking for leaders of the future, and this programme gives us the chance to nurture and grow the best internally.”
