Global creative agency network, McCann Health, has promoted its Asia Pacific chief digital officer, Marcus Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson, who takes up the role of global chief digital officer, has been with McCann since 2008, holding numerous roles including digital engagement director, lead digital catalyst and director, strategic innovation group.
His new role will see him lead the expansion of McCann Health’s digital offering and will play a role in enhancing their digital capabilities for clients.
He will also work closely with the McCann group’s global chief digital officer, Sean MacDonald, who said: “Marcus is a proven leader who knows how to activate our highly collaborative global network, instituting our shared approach to strategy development, social marketing, and innovation.
“He will continue to leverage deep insights to help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives.”
