Merck KGaA picks Constantin Fest to lead investor relations

He succeeds Joshua Young who will leave the company and move to the US

Merck KGaA Constantin FestMerck KGaA has promoted Constantin Fest to head its investor relations department from January.

He will report to Merck's chief financial officer Matthias Zachert and takes over from Joshua Young.

Young has decided to leave the company and move back to the US after nearly eight years at Merck and its Millipore division.

Zachert said: “I would like to thank Joshua for his contribution to the Finance organisation. He played a very important role in upgrading the capital market communications over the last two years. Equally I would like to wish Constantin all the best in his new role.”

Fest joined the Merck Investor Relations department in June 2012 and has a broad investor relations background.

Prior to Merck, he worked for the chemical firm Lanxess' investor relations department as well as for its treasury.
