MMRI strengthens leadership team with new commercial director

Colin Williams joins the firm from PharmiWeb Solutions

Colin WilliamsMMRI has appointed Colin Williams as commercial director, a newly-created role that will see him focus on supporting MMRI in market research and digital technology.

Previously working with clients such as GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Roche and the NHS, Williams will be predominantly based within the healthcare sector at MMRI as well as supporting the sports research division.

He said: “Having enjoyed 14 years with PharmiWeb Solutions, I knew I wanted to take a new direction and was looking for the next challenge. MMRI’s forward thinking approach to research is the perfect fit and I look forward to heading up the commercial division in this exciting time of continued growth.”

Alongside his new role he will continue to serve as an executive committee member of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Society.

Janet Gunner, medical director at MMRI, said: “As a business built on people, we know that effective relationships are the key to successful market research and our project teams are thoughtfully put together based on skills, experience and personality. Colin brings all of these in abundance.”
