Norgine’s Karen Hockey promoted to head of global marketing

Appointment follows nearly two years as global brand manager for constipation treatment Movicol

Norgine Karen HockeyNorgine has promoted Karen Hockey to head of global marketing, overseeing the specialty pharma company's marketing efforts.

Hockey's promotion comes after nearly two years as global brand manager for constipation treatment Movicol since joining Norgine in 2011.

Ken Scrimgeour, Norgine's chief commercial officer said: “I fully expect Karen to build on her recent success with Norgine's flagship brand, Movicol by bringing strong and effective leadership to our global marketing function.”

Prior to joining Norgine, Karen spent nine years working in sales, marketing and market access positions at GlaxoWellcome/GlaxoSmithKline.
