Oxford Pharmascience has bulked up its board with the appointment of industry veteran John Goddard as independent non-executive director.
Goddard has years of experience in pharma including a spell as head of group strategic planning and business development at AstraZeneca until his retirement in 2010.
He joined AZ after his former company Zeneca merged with Astra in 1999.
Oxford Pharmascience’s chair Dave Norwood commented that Goddard’s experience in the industry would be valuable as the company initiates the commercialisation of its drug pipeline.
