Boston-based PureTech Health has appointed Michael Maclean as its chief financial officer.
Maclean joins from Fortune 1000 firm Iron Mountain where he served as chief financial officer of the North American business.
He said: “In my various roles, I’ve looked closely at many businesses in the healthcare sector and PureTech stands out as truly innovative.
“I look forward to joining the stellar PureTech team and contributing during this exciting phase of growth for the company.”
Previously Maclean was senior VP of finance at Biogen, during which he oversaw finance and accounting and was responsible for managing strategic collaborations and acquisitions. He has also supported global clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics sectors while working as audit partner at KPMG.
