Quantum Pharma promotes Chris Rigg to chief financial officer

He succeeds Martin Such in the role

Quantum Pharma Chris RiggsDurham, UK-based Quantum Pharma has promoted Chris Rigg from group strategic director to chief financial officer and board member following the resignation of Martin Such earlier this month.

Rigg joined the pharmaceutical manufacturer in November 2015 from NRG, a national recruitment agency, where he had served as chief executive officer since 2013.

He brings 20 years of financial and managerial experience to the role, having worked at Deloitte, Eaga, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Barclays, where he headed up its North East corporate banking division.

Andrew Scaife, chief executive officer at Quantum, said: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the board as chief financial officer.

“Chris has a wealth of relevant experience in management, finance and strategic matters and … a good understanding of the group's businesses.

“On behalf of the board I would like to extend sincere thanks to Martin Such for his significant contribution to the success and growth of the company during the past eight years and, in particular, to its listing in 2014.”
