Healthcare marketing agency Strategic North has promoted John Grime to director.

The move comes, said Strategic North, on the back of a strong period of growth, and 'recognises his hard work and dedication to the success of the agency in 2013'.

With a decade's experience in healthcare insight and strategy, Grime joined Strategic North in 2011 from Adelphi Research, where he was an associate director. He has also worked for Fast Forward Research and Vision Twentyone.

Grime's new role will be to lead on further developing the innovative research methodologies offered by Strategic North, and to continue to support clients in developing robust and pragmatic strategic marketing plans, to overcome current and future business challenges.

"Strategic North is a fantastic agency that does really great work for clients - I am excited about my promotion and being in a position to further enhance our insight approaches," said Grime.

Founded in January 2010 by four partners, Strategic North today has 11 staff. Clients include AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim and Merck Serono.
