Healthcare video agency Streaming Well has brought two new creatives on board to “raise the bar in pharma film-making”.

Steve Skinner (pictured right) joins Streaming Well as the company’s new Creative Director. As an award-winning writer and director, Skinner has spent his career involved in the creation of TV adverts, promos and short videos.

Skinner started out as a researcher for a variety of Channel 4 programmes before moving into music video directing.

Over the last 19 years Skinner has written and directed for a host of media giants including Sky, NBC Universal and Disney.

He said: “It was Streaming Well’s [Co-Founders] Francis Namouk and Genevieve Robson’s desire to raise the bar in pharma film-making that convinced me to join the company. Since I started we’ve been incredibly busy, but we’re setting new standards, making some great work that I’m very proud of.”

Meanwhile, Freddie Slaughter (pictured left) also joins Streaming Well, but takes on the role as a senior producer.

Slaughter’s career within the TV industry is one that spans over 7 years, a time frame that has allowed him to work on a number of projects including advertising campaigns across digital, cinematic and televisual platforms.

His career has also seen him manage accounts for the likes of Bayer, Warner Bros and HSBC, to name a few.

He said: “There are some amazing videos being produced across the industry, but I think Steve and I will be able to bring something really unique and creatively stimulating to the table that people won’t have seen before. We want to push boundaries and show what is possible within the space, and Streaming Well is the perfect company to cultivate that.”

Based in London, Streaming Well has been established for more than a decade, creating engaging stories for the healthcare industry at a global scale.

CEO Francis Namouk adds: “I’m delighted to on-board both these outstanding talents who bring their wealth of creative and TV experience to the team.

“Together, our mission is to raise the bar on what HCP and patient engagement looks like for the healthcare industry through powerful storytelling and interactive experiences. After all, ‘Doctors are people too!’, they have Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts and therefore expect to be entertained.”
