Verona Pharma strengthens senior management team

Richard Hennings joins as commercial director

Verona Pharma has appointed Richard Hennings in a role that will see him oversee the firm’s marketing access strategy and increase its commercial focus.

Hennings has over 15 years of experience serving a number of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including AstraZeneca, Gilead Sciences and Novartis.

Within these firms he has held a series of senior roles such as leading the commercialisation of innovative medicines, strategy development and local operational execution.

Jan-Anders Karlsson, CEO of Verona Pharma, said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard to the Verona Pharma team and look forward to advancing our market focus and commercial plans under his leadership.

“Richard brings extensive experience in commercial planning and launch preparations, as well as brand building of innovative respiratory products in the U.S and Europe.”
