Executive Insight re-launches website, precisioneffect acquires healthcare agency and AMICULUM opens new office

AMICULUMAMICULUM opens new Scottish base

Independent global healthcare communications and consulting group AMICULUM has opened a new office, a move that marks its 6th UK base.

The office – which is located on the grounds of Dundee University in Scotland – will provide collaborative opportunities with the city’s biomedical science community.

The new base is said to enhance the firm’s ability to support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and medical device clients located in Scotland.

Dr Richard Allcorn, co-founder of AMICULUM, commented, “Our team is particularly excited to be establishing a presence alongside Dundee University, which is highly regarded as a global centre of biomedical research and teaching.”

The opening of the Dundee office comes months after the group unveiling its Brighton office back in January.

precisioneffectPrecisioneffect acquires Big Pink

Healthcare advertising agency precisioneffect has acquired European multichannel marketing healthcare agency Big Pink, known for providing campaigns to the pharmaceutical industry.

Founded in 1992, Big Pink has worked with a variety of pharmaceutical clients including GlaxoSmithKline on one of its flu-awareness campaigns.

Carolyn Morgan, president at precisioneffect, said: “Big Pink brings a breadth of experience and depth in multichannel marketing that will both complement and expand precisioneffect’s expertise.

“Their leadership and creative teams are big thinkers and we are excited to bring the creative power of these two companies together to help our clients change the standard of care around the world.”

Big Pink founders Wayne Page and Simon Wilson will join Morgan and precisioneffect’s leadership team to focus on new market opportunities and overall business development.

With the addition of Big Pink, precisioneffect has 175 marketing professionals across the US and the UK.

Executive InsightExecutive Insight re-launches website

Specialised healthcare consultancy firm Executive Insight has strengthened its online presence with a new website offering.

Users of the site will see consultants sharing their experience in project cases, providing a snapshot of their methodologies and strategic thinking.

The website also includes an insight look at the Executive Insight team, including agency profiles.
