Alpha-Plus Medical Communications, a member of the Fishawack Group of Companies, has fully integrated into Fishawack Communications.
Alpha-Plus Medical Communications was acquired by the Fishawack Group in May 2010, and the Alpha-Plus team moved to the Fishawack office near Oxford, UK, in February 2011. The integration cements the shared resource capabilities, US presence, and expanded expertise that the group as a whole has to offer.
Gail Flockhart, managing director of Fishawack Communications, said: “The acquisition of Alpha-Plus into the Fishawack Group has been a smooth process and so it is a logical next step to fully integrate the team into Fishawack.
“For clients this means access to a greater pool of experience and resources through the Fishawack Communications brand, while maintaining contact with the staff they have always worked with. This step also offers exciting opportunities for the talented individuals across our team.”
The Fishawack Group is continuing a series of strategic acquisitions and completed a third acquisition in July this year when Phocus Communications, based in Basel, Switzerland, joined the group.
Oliver Dennis, group CEO, said: “We continue to be on track to achieve our goal of becoming the leading independent medical communications specialist, and now have over 100 staff based in offices in the UK, Switzerland, and the US. Agencies within the Fishawack Group are now represented on the preferred supplier lists of 12 of the top 20 pharma companies.”
