Ashfield Healthcare launches Cirrus Communications

The new healthcare communications agency will have US and UK roots

Cirrus CommunicationsAshfield Healthcare Communications has launched a new strategic healthcare communications agency called Cirrus Communications.

It aims to provide a ‘personalised’ approach to healthcare communications through “seamless interaction, intellectual partnership, consistent support and strategic alignment with its clients”, according to the group.

The Cirrus team will be led by Stephanie Tortell and will work on a range of activities including scientific communications, patient engagement, publications planning, medical education and strategic understanding.

Tortell said: “Although we are a new team, Cirrus Communications builds upon the experience and strategic insight of talented and established healthcare communications experts within the wider Ashfield family.

“Importantly, our team members will bring both healthcare industry, academia and agency expertise to Cirrus Communications, which provides added benefit and insight for the teams we support.

“It promises to be an exciting time for all those involved and we will be continuing our expansion and strengthening our relationships with clients even further over the coming months.”

The new group will have offices in London and Macclesfield in the UK and New Jersey in the US, with plans to further expand and recruit team members across all locations by the first quarter of 2018.

Along with launching a new healthcare communications group, the agency has recently expanded its UK and Ireland presence by opening offices in Dublin and Glasgow to “target new talent”.
