Canadian digital agency Sonic Boom arrives in London

Paul Jacob’s will lead the digital and social media agency from the offices of Axon Communications

Canadian digital agency Sonic Boom has expanded its operations to the UK with the appointment of London-based director of digital strategy Paul Jacobs.

Sonic Boom will be run alongside Axon Communications, its fellow member of the Canadian-headquartered National network.

Jacobs has worked in healthcare communications and digital integration for over 10 years and joins Sonic Boom from Medicus International, an agency within the Publicis network, where he was director of digital strategy.

During this time he worked with a number of pharmaceutical clients to integrate digital channels into their communications programmes.

“We are delighted that Paul Jacobs has joined us in London,” said Sylvain Perron, managing partner of Sonic Boom. “Paul is already an established leader in digital healthcare and he brings outstanding experience to both our existing and new clients.”

Locating Sonic Boom's UK operations within Axon Communications' London office, National aims to provide greater integrated digital communications to their clients.

“Digital and social media are among the fastest growing areas of our business,” said Miranda Dini, managing partner, Axon UK.

“And having our colleagues from Sonic Boom working alongside us in London is an important step for ensuring we can fully integrate digital strategy into the communications solutions we're providing to our clients.”
