Cohn & Wolfe is to launch legal proceedings against two former members of staff, dismissed from the agency last week.
According to reports, it is alleged that Fiona McMillan and Rebecca Galbraith, who resigned from the agency in December and were working out their notice periods, were dismissed last week for gross misconduct.
McMillan and Galbraith are reported to strongly deny any wrongdoing.
Cohn & Wolfe UK CEO Fiona Noble is said to have confirmed that 'solicitors have been retained by all parties involved, letters before action have been sent to them and legal proceedings are being prepared'.
Speaking to PR Week, Noble said: "We are taking legal action to obtain orders from the High Court requiring Fiona and Rebecca to act lawfully and in compliance with their Cohn & Wolfe employment contracts".
Cohn & Wolfe declined the opportunity to provide any further comments to PMLiVE.
