Concentric Health Experience eyes European expansion

Appoints Peter Carr and Arron O’Hare as part of regional expansion plans

Concentric Health ExperienceNew York-headquartered Concentric Health Experience has appointed Peter Carr and Arron O'Hare as executives in its London, UK office as part of moves to grow the agency's existing European presence.

The international healthcare agency's chief executive Ken Begasse said: “we continue to grow, but grow smart”.

“Last year we were named one of the top 25 healthcare agencies in the world, and we know that a strong, strategic presence in Europe is critical to our long term global success,” he added.

Carr is the former owner of Courtney Alexander Consulting Limited, where his client roster included Actelion, Grunenthal, Pfizer, Roche Products and various NHS Trusts.

He brings 25 years of healthcare marketing expertise to the agency and has held senior leadership roles at the likes of Boehringer Ingelheim, Fujisawa (now Astellas), Grey Healthcare Group and Solaris Health.

He now takes on the role of executive vice president and managing director, Europe at Concentric Health Experience.

Carr said: “Europe is a unique healthcare market. A broad understanding of both clinical and commercial issues is a must, but in addition, an agency must be able to identify when global needs to become local.

“I'm looking forward to building on the continuing success of Concentric and using our global network to expand our presence here in Europe even further.”

Meanwhile, O'Hare becomes Concentric's new creative director, moving from DJM PAN Unlimited where he spent the past 13 years as creative director having originally joined PAN Unlimited.

He has over 25 years of experience in healthcare advertising agencies and has worked in a number of therapy areas for both UK and global clients.

Begasse added: “Peter and Arron share our philosophy of creating value for clients through strong collaboration and forward-thinking innovation.

“They will have access to the entire Concentric network of over 200 employees both in Europe and the US as they solve unique challenges for global healthcare brands.”
